    Having met via our own career change paths to become business psychologists, we're combining leading edge business psychology with the sorts of practical insights what we would want our own children to experience.

     

    Employers struggle to find students prepared with the right skills for success. They say, “students may have textbook knowledge but don’t have the ability to take that knowledge to think critically, innovate, solve complex problems and work well in a team.”

    We're on a mission to change this: we're preparing a series of 1/2 day and full day workshops featuring some of the best leaders and influencers in their fields.

    Our workshops will focus on building practical skills and insights into the world of work. Here are some key features of what we believe in and are developing:

  • About The Alternative Education Group

    Set up by Joanna Floyd, Sarah-Jane Last and Lucy Standing, The Alternative Education Group is a Community Interest company (CIC - Company Number 10986820). Any profit generated from running this programme will be donated to the Mayor's Fund for London - which runs programmes to help disadvantaged young Londoners acquire the skills they need to enter and climb the career ladder.

      We’re using our own website and contact forms, but we will also advertise opportunities on social media so if you complete a form we create on social media, we may also capture data from there.

      We will use the data to either contact you with regards to an opportunity you are booking. We do not send junk mail but may send the occasional update, progress of our development of initiatives

      You may get an occasional email update. We do not anticipate sending any until after the summer (2018) and even then, it will not be more than once a month.
